Who am I

Birgit Samson,
Business & Executive Coach

I am specialised in Business & Executive Coaching as well as in the development of leadership skills.

My many professional experiences in multicultural environments lead me to describe myself above all as a hands-on woman. Hotel management, Human Resources management in an international group and HR management consulting for many industrial sectors, it is in these environments that I evolved.

It is in a national and international context that I acquired solid knowledge in the development of human capital and in the recruitment and selection of executives and leaders.

Indeed, I have accompanied many leaders at all levels of organisations. I coached them in career transition or personal assessment and supported them through Executive Coaching programs in reaching their ambitious professional goals.

My mother tongues are French and German and I also speak fluent English. I am in the benefit of an Executive MBA. Moreover, I am accredited as Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by ICF (International Coach Federation).

In 2008, I founded my first company offering consulting in the development of human capital for organisations, called Ressources du Leadership. In 2021, I am giving it a new identity, Board Selection & Executive Coaching.

career

This experience in an international group active in the Swiss market enabled me to acquire in-depth knowledge. It is in the sector of human resources management, strategic development of performance management and fostering upcoming generations that I increased my skills.

It is in an international consulting firm in the field of human resources management that I was responsible for implementing various projects. For example, I was in charge of implementing projects in the following areas: recruitment and selection of executives and leaders as well as evaluating competencies. All of this for companies from all industrial sectors. Moreover I lead change management processes by means of coaching and executive coaching.

Creation of my first company offering consulting in the development of human capital for organisations.

In the context of my company Ressources du Leadership, I joined Oasys Consultants SA in 2012 as the Director of the Lausanne Office. To sum up, my mission was to help develop Oasys in Switzerland

Oasys Consultants Switzerland entrusts me with the management of the Oasys Executive Club. This project offers a global and multidimensional support to the CEOs and their management teams. In a phase of reflection, but also of reorganization or career transition, we provide them with an exclusive and highly qualitative supervision in the Oasys office in Lausanne. They benefit from various services and the opportunity to have access to a community of decision-makers and experts. All of this through thematic meetings, conferences and tailor-made workshops. It’s enough to reinvent their leadership, broaden their field of vision and acquire valuable tools.
